Championship era and the exhibition return

Ninth and tenth ICC titles

Mount Union clinched its ninth Inter-County Conference championship in 2016 and repeated as conference champion in 2017. The 2016 team finished 14-0, and the 2017 team completed a 10-0 regular season.

Varsity era and exhibition golf

The modern PIAA varsity record ends with Matt Fiscus’s 2019 team. Golf later returned at Mount Union as an exhibition activity rather than a PIAA-sponsored varsity sport. The school board’s 2025 discussion and the 2026 meet reports are therefore recorded separately from the varsity won-loss archive.

2018 postseason correction

Trey Heffelfinger shot 75 and placed fourth at the 2018 PIAA Class AA Western Regional, advancing to the state tournament. He opened the state championship with an 88, tied for 30th. An earlier version of this record book incorrectly listed his regional finish as tied for 20th.
